Why Visit The Dentist:
A healthy mouth is a critical component of your overall health. It is the gateway to your body! Don’t wait until something hurts!
Cavities may not hurt until they are large.
Gum disease is usually painless until severe.
Tooth wear due to grinding, or the alignment of the teeth, can cause significant damage that is almost impossible to repair.
Oral cancers are usually asymptomatic until they are advanced.
Prevention is key!
Identifying problems early allows for more treatment options, shorter, less invasive treatment, and a greater chance for a successful outcome.
A YEARLY COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL EXAM IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
This exam takes about 60 minutes and involves a visual exam, x-ray images, cleaning, oral hygiene education and a discussion of findings and possible treatment needs. We will then coordinate follow-up care to be complete at Skokomish or with a specialist.
